Baylor University Department of Psychology and Neuroscience invites applications for an Assistant Professor tenure-track appointment in the area of Clinical Psychology to start August 2014. The successful candidate will have a commitment to excellence in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and clinical research. Experience with evidence-based psychological interventions required. Primary responsibilities will include: instruction of undergraduate and graduate level courses, supervision of clinical psychology doctoral students, and developing an independent program of research related to clinical psychology. The department has an APA-accredited and nationally ranked Clinical Psychology Program, along with a doctoral program in Psychology with concentrations in Behavioral Neuroscience, General-Experimental, and Social Psychology. Minimum qualifications include: A Ph.D. degree from an APA-accredited program in professional psychology (Clinical, Counseling, Child Clinical, or School) and completion of an APA-accredited internship, and have the ability to eventually become licensed in Texas. Waco is a temperate, low-cost metropolitan area of 200,000+ people with excellent medical facilities.
