The School of Psychological Science at Oregon State University is accepting applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor in Applied Cognition OR Engineering Psychology OR Health Psychology. This position will be effective fall 2014. Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in Psychology, evidence of an active and productive research program or the potential for developing one, and evidence of excellence in teaching or potential for excellence in teaching. Applicants will be expected to teach one or more of the following courses: Introductory Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Engineering Psychology, Health Psychology, Research Methods, as well as any other courses within their own areas of interest. The candidate is expected to (a) establish/continue a strong and productive research program, (b) demonstrate evidence of, or potential for, excellence in teaching, and (c) to contribute to the advising and student mentoring process.
