| AFFECTIVE NEUROSCIENCE. Pomona College invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Psychology with affiliate status in the Department of Neuroscience. We are seeking outstanding candidates with: 1) a commitment to teaching; 2) the ability to integrate undergraduates into an active fMRI neuroimaging research program on emotion; and 3) a demonstrated commitment to recruiting and retaining students from underrepresented groups in the sciences. Competitive start-up funds will be provided. Post-doctoral experience is preferred. Teaching load is two courses per semester (two non-laboratory courses, or one course with laboratory) and will include Introductory Psychology, a laboratory course in emotions, a laboratory course in cognitive and affective neuroimaging, and an advanced seminar in area of specialty. Equal supervision of research and senior theses in Psychology and Neuroscience is expected.
