NYU Langone Medical Center (NYULMC) is one of the nation’s premier centers of excellence in healthcare, biomedical research and medical education. Located in the heart of New York City, the Medical Center consists of the NYU Hospitals Center including Tisch Hospital, The Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, the Hospital for Joint Diseases, and the NYU School of Medicine.

The Child Study Center / Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU Langone Medical Center is looking for a faculty leader to head our collaborative Center for Stress, Trauma, and Resilience (CSTR). CSTR focuses on disorders that have a strong relationship to stress, trauma and loss, such as posttraumatic stress disorder, acute stress disorder, grief, anxiety, and depression. The main goal of CSTR is to advance our discovery and impact for these important areas in the mental health field. The Director will be responsible for leading the Department’s activities related to stress, trauma, and resilience, and forming collaborations with related programs across the medical center, university, and country.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leadership and expertise in field as demonstrated by publications, research funding, and overall impact of their work. Candidate will also be eligible for an endowed professorship at NYU School of Medicine.
