| California State University, East Bay—The Department of Psychology invites applications for an assistant professor, tenure-track position in Industrial/Organizational or Biological Psychology to begin in Fall of 2014. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Psychology and a record of peer-reviewed scholarship in Industrial or Biological Psychology. Outstanding candidates in Industrial/Organizational or Biological Psychology are encouraged to apply. Duties for the I/O position include teaching undergraduate courses such as Industrial Psychology, Decision Theory, Applied Measurement, Test Theory and other lecture and laboratory courses in the candidate’s area of expertise. Duties for the Biological position include teaching undergraduate Physiological Psychology and other lecture and laboratory courses in the candidate’s area of expertise. Position open to candidates in any area of Biological Psychology but research involving human subjects preferred. Candidates should have outstanding teaching skills, be enthusiastic about working with a diverse student body, and have a systematic program of research. Laboratory space is available and faculty development funds for research are awarded on a competitive basis. The potential for outside funding is desired.
