Prairie View A&M University invites applications for the positions of Associate Professor and Full Professor of Clinical Psychology. This incumbent for this position will be expected to have a strong commitment to the University’s mission of excellence in teaching, research, and service. This tenured position will be responsible for teaching courses in Clinical Psychology and engaging in scholarly activities that support the academic and research goals of the College. Additionally, the successful candidate must be able to attract external funding for research initiatives and academic programming. The College of Juvenile Justice and Psychology and the Texas Juvenile Crime Prevention Center are committed to excellence in education, training, prevention and service. By offering a diverse curriculum the College trains empiricists, educators and practitioners in juvenile justice and psychology. The College's objective is to assist with the understanding of human behavior and the reduction of juvenile crime in the State of Texas.
