| The Psychology Department at Berry College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Developmental Psychology beginning in August 2013. A Ph.D. is preferred, although persons who are ABD will be considered. The ideal candidate should be prepared to teach rotating courses in Life-Span Development, Child and Adolescent Psychology, Adulthood and Aging that will serve psychology majors and students from other disciplines, including nursing, exercise science, sociology, family studies, and marketing. Candidates should also be able to teach an integrated two-course sequence of research methods and statistics and Psychological Testing, in addition to seminars in his or her areas of research expertise. The faculty may also be required to teach the introductory psychology course. The department and college both value and encourage faculty to engage students in collaborative research. Berry operates an on-campus laboratory preschool and child-development center as well as an elementary and middle school as part of the Charter School of Education and Human Sciences.
