| I-O Psychology — The Department of Psychology at OHIO UNIVERSITY is seeking to fill one assistant professor tenure-track faculty position in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. The I-O program at OU currently includes Dr. Rodger W. Griffeth and Dr. Jeffrey B. Vancouver who are both SIOP fellows. Research in the Psychology Department focuses on social judgment and behavioral decision making (e.g., individual evaluation; selection processes; team processes), health psychology (e.g., occupational health; stress), and intervention design and program evaluation (e.g., training; system interventions). Responsibilities will include maintaining an active, high-quality research program, directing graduate student research, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, and serving on committees or engaging in other service roles. Candidates must be committed to working effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds and must have obtained a Ph.D. from an I-O (psychology) or OB/HR (business) program, or related discipline by the start of the appointment. Preference will be given to candidates whose program of research complements or contributes to the department’s research and to those with a high level of quantitative skills.
