Assistant Professor of Psychology Western Oregon University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant professor position in Social Psychology or related field for the academic year starting September 16, 2013. Social Psychology Ph.D. preferred. ABDs considered if degree will be completed before start date. Candidates with teaching experience and a plan for a research program will be given priority. The successful candidate would join a department with 10 other tenure-track faculty and numerous non-tenure track faculty (please see our website at www.wou.edu/psych). The teaching load is 3 courses per term and may include Social Psychology, Personality, Cognitive Psychology, Research Methods, and/or General Psychology. In addition, the faculty member will have the opportunity to teach seminars/courses in the applicant’s specialty area. Review of applications begins December 19, 2012 and will continue until the position is filled. Western Oregon University (WOU) is a mid-sized public comprehensive university located in the Monmouth-Independence area, the heart of Oregon’s lush Willamette Valley.
