| The Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Rochester has openings for tenure-track faculty members in three areas: Cognition: Research interests include action, attention, categorization, decision making, learning, memory, and perception, and approaches such as development, cognitive neuroscience, computational modeling, and neuropsychology. Language: Applicants are sought in the areas of natural language production, comprehension or acquisition, including those employing cognitive neuroscience, computational and behavioral approaches. Systems/Computational Neuroscience: We seek candidates who employ experimental and/or computational neuroscience approaches to understanding the neural basis of behavior. Areas of interest include sensory neural coding, motor control, decision-making, plasticity, learning and memory. Successful candidates will join a dynamic, highly collegial department.
