The Department of Psychology at Kansas State University seeks to fill two tenure-track positions at the assistant professor level, one in COGNITIVE PSYCHOLOGY/APPLIED COGNITION and the other in BEHAVIORAL NEUROSCIENCE. The positions are part of a research-based Ph.D.-granting department in which faculty members conduct research, supervise graduate students, and teach two courses (graduate and/or undergraduate) each semester. A strong record of publication, demonstrated excellence in teaching, and the ability to develop a funded research program are required. We are seeking candidates who will complement current faculty research interests and who are able to help fulfill the Department’s teaching needs within their respective areas. The successful candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students of a diverse population. A doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field is required prior to the time of appointment. Postdoctoral experience is desirable.
