| University of California, Merced, has one position open at either the Assistant (tenure-track) or Associate/Full Professor (tenured) level in health psychology/behavioral medicine. Research focus within this area is open, and candidates with clinical research interests are welcomed. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing psychology faculty at a new UC campus, and to contribute to program development. UC Merced is experiencing strong developments in interdisciplinary health sciences research and education. We seek outstanding scholars who will establish and fund creative research programs; contribute to the building of a specialization in health psychology/behavioral medicine; participate in the development of innovative; interdisciplinary research programs; and, teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will have a doctorate in health psychology/behavioral medicine or a related field; a strong publication record; interests in program-building; a commitment to excellence in teaching; and at the Associate/Full Professor levels, a strong record of leadership and external funding.
