| Founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1948, Stonehill College is a private Catholic college located 22 miles from downtown Boston on a beautiful 384-acre campus in Easton, Massachusetts. With a student- to- faculty ratio of 13:1, the College engages 2500+ students in 80+ rigorous academic programs in the liberal arts, sciences, and pre-professional fields. The Psychology Department invites applications for a three-year term renewable Assistant Professor position in the area of clinical psychology and although the area of specialty is open, we are particularly interested in applicants with child, forensic or sport psychology emphasis. The position is to begin July 1, 2013. Applicants should have a demonstrated commitment to quality undergraduate liberal arts teaching and should be able to demonstrate that they are active in research and would be able to continue a productive research program while at Stonehill College. They should also have completed or be near completion of the Ph.D. Responsibilities across a year will include teaching Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, an upper-level course and a First-Year Seminar in the applicant’s specialty/research area, as well as mentoring students interested in advanced research.
