The Psychology Department at California Lutheran University is seeking applicants for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in the Psychology Department to begin in Fall, 2013. Responsibilities include: teaching a variety of undergraduate courses, supervising student research (including Honors Theses), academic advising/mentoring, advising department co-curricular programs, and maintaining an active program of scholarship. The successful candidate will hold a PhD (ABD considered) in Psychology from an accredited university with evidence of dynamic and engaging teaching and scholarly engagement.
Ability to teach human cognition, research methods, and statistics is required. The ability to teach in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: behavioral neuroscience, health psychology, adulthood and aging.
