| The Department of Psychology at Daemen College invites applications for tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor in the fields of Cognitive Psychology and Social Psychology to start Fall 2013. We are committed to teaching Psychology as a cohesive scientific discipline with a strong emphasis on writing and student-faculty research. We seek candidates with a record of commitment to undergraduate teaching and advising to teach courses required for the Psychology degree (e.g., research methods, junior seminar, senior thesis) as well as introductory psychology and courses in their areas of interest. Continued scholarship is expected, as well as participation in our competency-based, interdisciplinary core curriculum.
Minimum requirements are Ph.D. completed by Spring 2013 and teaching experience as primary course instructor.
