| Biological, Cognitive, and/or Cognitive Neuroscience Psychologist The Department of Psychology at Hillsdale College invites applications for a one-year visiting professor position (rank open) in Biological Psychology and/or Cognitive/Cognitive Neuroscience Psychology, to begin in August 2012. The department anticipates conducting a tenure-track search in the fall of 2013 and the visiting professor is invited to apply. The successful applicant will teach courses including biological psychology and/or cognitive psychology, introductory psychology, and courses in special areas of interest. Hillsdale faculty are first and foremost teachers (with an average class size of 15) and mentors, and are welcome and encouraged to pursue their own original research. Hillsdale is a small (1350 full-time, residential students), fully-accredited, nonsectarian, independent college of liberal arts, committed to the Western tradition, informed by Judeo-Christian faith, and dedicated to excellence in teaching undergraduate students. The candidate should have fulfilled all requirements for the Ph.D. by the time of appointment in August 2012. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
