| Director, Health Research Center West Virginia University The WVU Department of Community Medicine is undergoing a major expansion into a School of Public Health. The emerging school is seeking an accomplished, nationally recognized scientist for appointment to direct its active Health Research Center (HRC), with a corresponding senior level faculty appointment in the Department. The successful candidate will have the skills, vision, and experience to evaluate state and national data to inform health decisions and health policy to decrease health risks within our state and nation. The capability to analyze state data and to provide both academic and policy value is essential. The successful candidate will also have a PhD and/or terminal clinical degree with expertise in evaluation, effective use of state data, a distinguished record of research accomplishments, sustained extramural research funding, the ability to collaborate with state partners to develop research programs, and experience in graduate student education.
