| WEST TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY (a member of the Texas A&M System)is seeking applications for a 9 month tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology beginning Sept.1,2012. Qualified applicants will have teaching and research interests related to Social/Cognitive Psychology. Candidates with areas of expertise in social cognition, cognitive processes or evolutionary psychology given special consideration, although specialization in other areas will also be considered. The teaching load is 4/4 and is for both graduate and undergraduate courses. The successful candidate is expected to have excellent research skills and teaching excellence. Salary will be commensurate with experience. A PhD in psychology is required(ABD will be considered).
