| FACULTY APPOINTMENT PSYCHOLOGY Carthage College invites applications for a non tenure-track one-year appointment at the assistant professor rank in PSYCHOLOGY to begin August 2012. We seek a colleague with broad interests from a wide range of sub-specialties in psychology, and enthusiasm for teaching. Preferred candidates will hold the Ph.D. Applicants should expect to teach three courses in the fall and spring terms and January term. Most sections will be Introductory Psychology with an opportunity to teach an advanced course in the applicant’s subfield of Psychology. Founded in 1847, Carthage is situated on the shore of Lake Michigan, midway between Milwaukee and Chicago and offers quick urban access from the relaxed environment of a small city. The Carthage curriculum is designed to promote critical thinking while challenging students to express themselves effectively.
