| Lewis University seeking full time, tenure track Assistant Professor in Psychology to begin August 2012. Responsibilities include: -Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration, and active support of the University's Mission in Catholic and Lasallian higher education. -Teaching courses (12 credit hours per semester) which may include but are not limited to: statistics, research methods, psycho-biology, introductory psychology, and area of expertise. -Academic advising of undergraduate students. -Active participation in departmental level committee work. -Active participation in college and University level committee work. -Active participation in departmental level assessment projects. -Assistance in curriculum development. -Support of student organizations such as Psi Chi and Psychology Club. Qualifications: Minimum ABD. Content areas: developmental, cognitive, or experimental psychology. Demonstrated record of teaching excellence at the college level.
