Postdoc position available in Psychological and Linguistic Analysis of Social Media

Social media have become popular communication channels for people to exchange ideas, share opinions, and express emotions. In this project, we will integrate methods and techniques from data mining, computational linguistics, and social psychology to understand the cultural and emotional dynamics of online communities. We are looking for postdoc candidates in the areas of Social Psychology, Computational Linguistics, or related fields.
NTU Psychology ranks among the world's Top 50 departments in the QS World University Rankings. Our lab has three Ph.D. students, one full-time research assistant, and a number of undergraduate assistants. This year, we have published four papers in top international journals and have two papers under review with positive feedback.
This is a 2-year position. The remuneration package will include S$5,500 (US$4500) monthly salary, settling in allowances (S$2,000 for postdoc, S$2,000 for spouse, S$1,000 for up to 3 children), and research travel reimbursement up to S$5,000 per year.
