The UCLA Nathanson Family Resilience Center (NFRC: https://nfrc.ucla.edu/) invites applications for a 12-month Post-Doctoral Research Fellow starting as early as July 1, 2013, with the possibility of renewal for one additional year contingent on satisfactory performance. The NFRC offers clinical research post-doctoral training in family-centered care for families facing adversity. The NFRC uses innovative, science-driven approaches to support families in building upon their strengths to overcome a variety of challenges. We promote healthy child and family development by bridging the gap between research and practice to address long-standing disparities in access to high-quality prevention and intervention programs. Fellows will have the opportunity to train in a variety of evidence-based, relationship-based interventions for high-risk children and their families, as well as develop their own research interests while receiving mentored experience from NFRC faculty in conducting clinical research.
