TRAUMA/CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP: Announcing a postdoctoral fellowship opening to begin summer 2013 with Dr. Heather Littleton at East Carolina University. The appointed fellow will serve as key personnel on a multi-site research study (with Dr. Littleton and Dr. Grills-Taquechel at the University of Houston) designed to evaluate an online, therapist-facilitated cognitive behavioral intervention for rape victims with PTSD. This NIMH-funded position includes training in conducting cognitive behavioral interventions with rape victims and randomized clinical trial design and management. In addition, the fellow will be responsible for supervising and coordinating recruitment efforts, data management, conducting clinical assessments, and serving as a program therapist. The fellow will be able to obtain supervised clinical hours for licensure as a psychologist and will have ample opportunities to collaborate on conference submissions and publications.
Salary is competitive and the fellow will receive all university holidays as well as 10 days of paid vacation. The fellow will also receive health insurance coverage at no charge and will have the option of dependent health insurance coverage. There is also a stipend available for professional expenses. Preferred start date is August 1, 2013.
