Postdoctoral Position in PTSD Clinical Intervention Research

Two postdoctoral positions in PTSD intervention research are available. The primary responsibility for both positions will be to assist with the coordination and management of a NIH-funded project comparing the efficacy of two treatments for PTSD. The project is being conducted at the Nation Center for PTSD at VA Boston Healthcare System. Duration and start time are negotiable.

Responsibilities will include coordinating recruitment, conducting assessments, coordination of treatment, conducting analyses, supervising staff, and preparing manuscripts. The position provides ample opportunities for scholarly activities, including co-authorship, grant writing, and didactics. This is also an opportunity to gain valuable experience with randomized controlled trial methodology. Clinical opportunities and supervision meeting licensure requirements is also available.

Qualifications include a 1) doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an accredited program (including an APA accredited internship), 2) strong background in anxiety disorders, and 3) a minimum of one first-authored publication. Experience with diagnostic interviews and coordination of externally-funded studies is also desirable.
