The Center for NMR Research at Penn State College of Medicine invites applications for a postdoctoral position. The research projects will involve the use of simultaneous functional MRI (fMRI) and EEG (EGI) with applications in NeuroMarketing research. A PhD in psychology, neuroscience, computer science, engineering or physics is required. The ideal candidate will have previous EEG-fMRI data acquisition and analysis experience.

However, candidates with expertise in EEG, MRI, fMRI, image processing, paradigm development and sequence development/implementation and willingness to pursue new research endeavors are highly encouraged to apply. In particular, experiences with neural network modeling, machine learning methods, independent component analysis (ICA), dynamical causal modeling or structural equation modeling are desirable. There will be other opportunities for the postdoctoral fellow to collaborate and pursue one’s own program of research. The position will also provide opportunities for diverse research experiences in a highly collegial environment at both the Hershey and the University Park campuses.
