The Insomnia and Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program at Stanford University is looking for a research postdoctoral fellow. The primary responsibility of the fellow will be to assist with the coordination and daily management of two NIH-funded projects. The projects evaluate the effectiveness of CBTI for insomnia comorbid with depression (Project 1) and for insomnia during pregnancy and postpartum (project 2). Responsibilities include conducting screening interviews, coordination of treatment, and study assessments and will be shared with an existing study coordinator.

The position provides ample opportunities for scholarly activities, including co-authorship, grant writing, and didactic. It is also an opportunity be immersed in RCT methodology and implementation as on e study is starting and the other is ending.

If the fellow is interested in pursuing licensure or BSM certification, the opportunity for a small behavioral sleep medicine clinical case load could be provided.



The Insomnia and Behavioral Sleep Medicine Training Program is part of the Stanford Center for Sleep Medicine and Science. It is accredited by the Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine

Applications will be considered only from individuals with a Doctoral degree (Ph.D or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA accredited program, including an APA accredited internship program. Fluency in Spanish is preferred but qualified applicant without Spanish fluency will be considered.

The start date is immediate and the expected duration of the position is for two years.
