Research Associate – Post Doc; Department of Plant Pathology, Kansas State University. Drs. Whitfield and Rotenberg’s laboratory seeks a motivated and articulate postdoctoral researcher to study arthropod vectors of plant viruses. Our research is devoted to investigating plant-virus-vector interactions with the goal of developing a better understanding of the complex sequence of events leading to virus acquisition and transmission by vectors. The candidate will also mentor undergraduate researchers in the exploration of possible links between virus infection status and vector physiology and behaviors.
