The Department of Psychiatry of The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth located at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center anticipates openings for Postdoctoral Fellowships in the Behavioral Medicine Service and Mood Disorders Service to begin by the summer of 2014 (start date flexible). We are seeking excellent applicants from APA-accredited Doctoral Clinical or Counseling Psychology Programs. Training focuses on science-practice integration and on empirically supported treatments with a focus on cognitive-behavioral (including third-wave cognitive behavioral) interventions. Research opportunities are available and encouraged. All requirements for degree, including dissertation defense, must be completed prior to start date. The fellow is also required to maintain a minimum clinical caseload of 20 outpatient contact hours per week.

Behavioral Medicine Fellowship/Jan Seville, Ph.D. supervisor (Janette.L.Seville@dartmouth.edu): Experience required in evaluation and treatment of health concerns. Fellowship will focus on chronic pain management and insomnia treatments. Opportunities to work with/teach pain fellows in the pain clinic.

Mood Disorders Fellowship/Margit Berman Ph.D. supervisor (Margit.I.Berman@dartmouth.edu): Fellowship focuses on third-wave cognitive behavioral interventions (ACT/DBT) for mood disorders, including co-morbid depression and obesity, and on science-practice integration.
