Postdoctoral position in DEVELOPMENTAL COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).

The Brain, Cognition and Development Lab in the Neurosciences Department at MUSC has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral scholar to work on a project investigating neuro-developmental changes related to face processing using fMRI, DTI and connectivity analyses. There are additional opportunities to work on projects related to autism and drug abuse vulnerability.

The candidate must have a PhD in Psychology, Neuroscience or a related field. Prior experience in fMRI analysis, programming skills and strong statistical training is desired. The candidate must have a strong interest in visual / cognitive / developmental neuroscience. The Neurosciences Department (http://academicdepartments.musc.edu/neurosciences/index.htm) is highly ranked in extramural funding and both the cognitive neuroscience and neuroimaging communities are growing rapidly. The Center for Advanced Imaging Research (http://www.musc.edu/cair/) at MUSC houses a 3T research-dedicated human scanner and 7T animal scanner.
