The University of Queensland (UQ) invites applications for a limited number of Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in 2014, to be awarded to early career researchers of exceptional caliber wishing to conduct full-time research at the University in any of its disciplines.

In particular, the scheme aims to attract outstanding recent doctoral graduates to the University in areas of institutional research priority.

All applicants must fulfill the eligibility criteria listed in the Guidelines.

The period of appointment will be for three years and appointees are expected to commence in early 2014. The current salary range for the award is on a four-level scale from A$69,784.00 – $77,764.39, plus 17% superannuation. Each appointee will be entitled to maintenance funds of A$20,000 over the term of the Fellowship to support research costs. Appointees relocating from interstate or overseas will be entitled to reimbursement of travel and relocation costs.
