Postdoctoral position in Cognitive Psychology at the Institute for Experimental Psychology, Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, Germany (in the laboratory of Ute J. Bayen, Ph.D.).
The applicant should have a Ph.D. in Psychology and strong research interests and experience in any of the following areas: prospective memory, episodic memory, hindsight bias, formal models of memory, cognitive aging, memory development in children. We offer a competitive salary, benefits, and excellent research support including laboratories for behavioral, electrophysiological, and eyetracking experiments, and ample funds for research assistants, travel support etc. Teaching load is four semester hours (experimental practicum or SPSS course). Starting date for the position is September 1, 2013. The initial contract is for one year with renewal thereafter. Women are encouraged to apply. We welcome applicants with disabilities.
