The University of Michigan, Division of Rehabilitation Psychology and Neuropsychology (RPN), Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is accepting applications for an adult clinical Postdoctoral Fellowship to start September, 2013; an earlier start date can be discussed. The fellowship conforms to APA Division 22 guidelines and includes didactics in core topics in rehabilitation psychology and neuropsychology. The primary rotations will be on the inpatient Spinal Cord Injury Service and Consult/Liaison to other services. The Fellow will have opportunity for collaborative research with small clinical samples and/or large databases; interests in Quality Improvement research will be particularly welcome. Clinical RPN fellows receive comprehensive supervision and mentoring of their clinical work, preparation of presentations, and career planning. Program graduates are expected to pursue a career in some aspect of rehabilitation psychology/neuropsychology. Applicants should have completed all requirements for a PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology or Rehabilitation Psychology in an APA-accredited program, and be eligible for a limited license in Michigan, with preference given to those with an APA-accredited internship. Didactic and practical background in neuropsychology is expected, as well as interest and proficiency in psychotherapy.
