Harvard Medical School
Open until filled
A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Tae Ho Lee at the Division of Gerontology, Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. We are studying the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer’s disease using experimental models of primary neuron culture, transgenic and knockout mice. Current projects examine the contribution and interplay of protein phosphorylation including tau and APP and their regulation in Alzheimer’s disease (Lee, Expert Rev. Mol. Med. 13. e21. 2011; Lee, Mol. Cell 42. 147-159. 2011; Lee, Nat. Cell. Biol. 11, 97-105. 2009).
Highly motivated individuals with a recent Ph.D., M.D. or the equivalent and a good publication record are encouraged to apply. Experience and background in experimental neuroscience using molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology, and/or in vivo rodent models preferred. To apply, please send CV, a cover letter describing research accomplishments and interests, and names of three references, as one pdf file to Dr. Tae Ho Lee ( tlee3@bidmc.harvard.edu ).
