The Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons is pleased to announce the availability of the Herbert H. and Ruth S. Reiner Post-Doctoral Fellowship. This two-year fellowship will be available on July 1, 2013. We seek a postdoctoral fellow to work with faculty from the Departments of Psychiatry and Medicine at Columbia University. Faculty include Peter Shapiro, Catherine Monk, Ralph Wharton, Paula McKinley, Elizabeth Werner, Felice Tager, Ethan Gorenstein, Michael Myers, Karina Davidson, Lynn Clemow, Joseph Schwartz, and Richard Sloan. Faculty interests include cardiovascular behavioral medicine, maternal mood regulation and fetal development, treatment of anxiety disorders in older adults, cognitive dysfunction after chemotherapy for breast cancer, exercise, cognitive function and brain structure, and pain. Candidates must have a PhD or MD with good writing and analytical skills, experience in behavioral medicine research, and a strong interest in psychosocial interventions. Stipends are at current NIH levels of support.
