Postdoctoral Research Fellow

The George Mason University, Department of Psychology, Perception and Action Neuroscience Group ( PANG ; http://hfac.gmu.edu/pang/) and the Arch Lab (http://archlab.gmu.edu/) are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for studies examining the neural and genetic bases of spatial navigation.

We are looking for a candidate with a background in human memory and learning, and interests in genetics and individual differences. Experience in conducting fMRI experiments is essential. The successful applicant will possess excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

This project is part of a multiscale, multispecies project funded by the Office of Naval Research. Facilities include a 3T MRI , 128-channel EEG , neuronavigated TMS , TDCS , and PCR and gene-chip arrays.

We are seeking a talented researcher who works well in a group, is comfortable with interdisciplinary research, and seeks to take the next step towards establishing themselves as an independent researcher in cognitive neuroscience.
