The Neuropsychology Program at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth anticipates one opening for a two-year adult fellowship consistent with APA Div. 40 and Houston Conference guidelines, and one opening for a two-year pediatric fellowship. Our program goal is to provide advanced professional and research training in an academic environment. Rotations include Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon and NH Hospital in Concord (state neuropsychiatric facility). Research opportunities include dementia (MCI, AD), TBI, MS, schizophrenia, substance abuse, OCD, ADHD, and epilepsy. Programmatic emphases include integration of fMRI, morphometric and DTI methodology, memory and executive functions, and genetics. Facilities include the Advanced Imaging Center 3T magnet and the Brain Imaging Laboratory (http://synapse.hitchcock.org). Responsibilities include clinical assessment and consultation, participation in sodium amobarbitol testing, and ongoing research. Requirements include prior neuroscience course work, internship training in neuropsychology, and completion of all doctoral requirements.
