Postdoc Description
Santa Barbara, CA based Fielding Graduate University invites applications and nominations for a strategic and exciting position: Dean of the School of Psychology. As a University administrator, the Dean is responsible for oversight of the school's operations, new program development and support for innovative grants and research. Working in collaboration with faculty, students, staff and alumni, the Dean guides a shared vision promoting excellence in scholarship and teaching.

The Dean’s role includes:

• strategic planning leadership

• accreditation

• faculty development and hiring processes

• budget and financial management.

The candidate must:

• have an earned doctorate, preferably a PhD in Psychology

• have experience with APA and accreditation

• have demonstrated competency as a scholar-practitioner

• possess experience in administration and leadership in a graduate university setting

The Dean serves as a member of the academic leadership team, and reports to the Provost.
