Memory Development Postdoctoral Position

The Memory Development and Disorders Laboratory at the University of Arizona seeks a postdoctoral researcher to assist with studies of memory development in typical and atypical populations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in high density EEG studies in children or special populations, including E-prime programming and EEG analysis with netstation/EEG lab. The researcher will help execute and publish studies of memory development, including gaining experience with children with intellectual disabilities. Other duties include day to day management of research assistants and assistance with grant writing. The candidate should have some interest, and ideally a publication record, in memory development and related disorders.
The University of Arizona is an extremely vibrant training environment with access to several weekly seminars. The Psychology department is highly collaborative with opportunities to learn from top researchers in the field whose work spans neuroscience, developmental, and cognitive science approaches. The successful candidate will have a salary in line with the NIH pay-scale. While only one year of funding is guaranteed, this laboratory has a strong funding history and will support researchers to seek additional funding.
