The Postdoctoral Training Program at the Alcohol Research Center, Univ of CT School of Medicine offers 2-3 year, NIH/NIAAA-funded, mentored fellowships within the following areas: (a) psychological/personality/genetic risk factors (Mentors: Drs. Hesselbrock, Bauer, Covault, Briggs-Gowan); (b) pharmacotherapies for alcoholism, smoking, etc. (Drs. Oncken, Covault); (c) contingency management and other behavioral treatments. (Drs. Petry, Litt); (d) daily processes (EMA & diary methods) and their contribution to alcohol use/abuse (Dr. Tennen); (e) complex PTSD and its treatment (Dr. Ford); (f) alcohol use, stress, and aging (Drs. Wu, Barry); (g) alcohol advertising (Dr. Babor).
