Postdoc in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience

A postodoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Bennett I. Bertenthal at Indiana University, Bloomington (http://www.indiana.edu/~dcnlab/index.html). The fellow would conduct research on a set of interrelated projects investigating the links between perception and action as it applies to social attention, action understanding, and theory of mind. The position will be available for two years (or possibly longer) with a flexible start date (July 1, 2012 or earlier preferred).
The candidate must have a PhD in Psychology, Neuroscience or a related field. Preferred qualifications include an excellent background in cognitive or social neuroscience with some knowledge of developmental psychology. The following skills are highly desirable but not absolutely necessary: a strong programming background (e.g., Matlab; Psych Toolbox), experience with eye tracking and related analyses, experience with electrophysiology and ERP analysis, and experience with multivariate statistics. Primary responsibilities will include active participation in research and scholarship, undergraduate student mentorship and other research related duties as assigned.
