The APS Employment Network is the employment resource used by the best and brightest in psychological science seeking position openings, fellowships, work studies, and other opportunities. The APS Employment Network is accessible — at no charge — to the general public and the more than 25,000 APS Members, and is available through either its online community or the Observer membership magazine.

Employment Network Rates

There are two types of ads available: line ads and display ads. Line ads are text, and can be posted both on the online APS Employment Network and print Observer magazine. Display ads are graphic ads that are designed and sent in by you (we can also design them for a small fee) and then posted in the Observer.

You choose the start and end dates for online ads (ads that appear less than 30 days are charged at the 30-day rate). All ads are reviewed prior to posting; in most cases ads can appear online the same day.
Your online ad may also appear in the Observer magazine during the same calendar month for an additional $50(your ad may appear online before and after the print issue).All prices are net

Online-only ads may be submitted at any time. Ad copy for the
Observer is due at APS the first business day of the month prior
to publication (i.e. December 2, 2013 is the deadline for
the January issue).

The Observer reaches readers in the first or
second week of the month published.

Commercial Advertising

Commercial advertising is available online as a banner ad and in the Observer. Online ads must run for a minimum of 30 days. Once your ad has completed running we can provide you with statistics including page views and number of clicks. All ads can link to your home page or a website of your choice.
