APS is a strong, effective voice for psychological scientists, providing international leadership in reaching policymakers and the public and increase understanding of scientific psychology, and how psychological science shapes the understanding of our world. Â The APS Board of Directors asks for your support of these efforts through the APS Campaign for Advancing Psychological Science.
APS is a great success story and recent achievements prove it:
- A New Era for Basic Behavioral Research at NIH
APS Advocacy Leads to Agency-Wide Funding Initiative - APS-supported clinical science accreditation system
With your contributions, the Association is able to build on that record and move in new, significant directions aimed at increasing resources for research and training in psychological science, increasing recognition of accomplishments within the field, and advancing the science of psychology. Your participation in the APS annual giving campaign will strengthen core APS activities -- including its highly ranked journals, Annual Convention, and advocacy -- and will allow the Association to continue enhancing the public's understanding of behavioral science, ensuring therapies and interventions are empirically supported, encouraging the use of psychological science in new contexts and venues, and undertaking initiatives to make sure that vigorous and rigorous research continues.
