The Silver Palm's dining room is actually a 1947 Budd dining car, serving in the same capacity as it did on the original train. It is home to the Three Little Piggy sandwich – declared the "Greatest Sandwich in America" by Anthony Bourdain – so named because it has three variations of pork: smoked ham, a breaded pork tenderloin, and two strips of bacon. Blanketed in a thick coat of gruyere cheese, the sandwich includes an onion ring and a fried egg, all served on a brioche bun.
