Data Repurposing and Quasi-Experiments: Answering Critical Translational Questions in Psychopathology
Saturday, May 24, 2014,
10:20 AM - 10:55 AM
Translational research focuses on the processes through which basic research informs interventions and vice versa, but several roadblocks impede these efforts. The presentation will illustrate how analyzing data collected for other purposes (e.g., government records and insurance claims) using advanced designs can provide insights into the etiology and treatment of psychopathology.
This is part of the Big Data: Understanding Patterns of Human Behavior Theme Program.
