As the clinical scientists of today, we want our students to be poised and ready to become the clinical scientists of tomorrow. What skills do we most want them to have when they leave the nest? The ability to play well with others may be the most important.

Learning Objectives
This Workshop is designed to help you:
1. List three important aspects of the role of mentor to doctoral students in clinical psychological science.
2. Describe career and psychosocial mentoring activities and the differences between them.
3. Describe the benefits that doctoral students may accrue from positive and involved mentoring.
