Surprising Reactions to the Race Iat

The purpose of the present study was to document participants' reactions to the race IAT. Surprisingly, results showed that most participants were unsurprised by their results and said that knowing their implicit preference did not change their self-concept. Additional analyses comparing participants with different implicit preferences are reported.
