Self-Misidentification as Bisexual: One Consequence of Conflating Romantic Love and Sexual Desire

For most people, the sex of those to whom they are romantically attracted is concordant with the sex of those to whom they are sexually attracted. When this is not the case, individuals may mistakenly identify themselves as bisexual because they have no term for more precisely characterizing this discordance.
