The Video Reflection of Instruction project was designed to improve beginning teachers’ instructional skills in regards to the needs of English language learner (ELL) students in San Bernardino, CA. Beginning teachers were required to self-videotape instruction, followed by (1) self-evaluation of their teaching and (2) electronic mentorship from experienced teachers.
