Our study examined the relationship of heterosexist harassment, rejection and discrimination, state anger, and maladaptive coping to depression in the LGBT population. A hierarchical linear regression analysis of our model accounted for 34.9% of the variance in depression, with state anger and maladaptive coping being the strongest predictors.
