Evolutionary psychology (EP) has been accused of championing a moral-political agenda. We conducted two studies, exploring whether exposure to EP arguments affects evaluations of sexual behaviors. Participants, who were exposed to arguments representing an EP perspective, evaluated certain sexual behaviors differently than participants, who were exposed to a social constructionist perspective.
