This workshop will demystify the research grant process from application to the management of your first grant. Topics to be covered include: identifying public and private funding sources, writing applications, and managing research grants. Experts from academia and the federal government will discuss "tricks of the trade," the reviewers’ role, and building a soft-money research program, as well as provide feedback and consultation to attendees. This workshop is co-sponsored by the APS Student Caucus.
