A P300-based concealed information test (CIT) was given to participants in a mock-crime study. Participants were tested for knowledge of an item stolen from a teacher’s mailbox: 10/12 subjects were correctly classified in a guilty group, 12/12 in a guilty countermeasure group, and 11/12 in an innocent control group.
